This wedding was incredibly special to me. My cousin Ian and his bride Caitlin chose me to photograph their wedding. I am so honored to have been such a crucial part of such an important day. The day started with busy morning set up and moved into hair and make up. The men were down putting the finishing touches on the ceremony site and once done, played a few games of corn bag toss. The gals chatted and laughed, oohhh'd and Awe'd. The air was electric with excitement and love. The couple wrote letters, shared gifts, and relaxed with their closest friends. The first look was like a scene from a movie, stunning all who witnessed the breathtaking moment. Sharing unique and beautiful vows, hand fast with the family tartan, and married before family and friends; the Ferrell's shared a sureness, a depth, their love. The evening followed with lots of dancing from slow, quick, to funky because this couple knew how to get all of their guests on the dance floor.

Upon meeting this couple I could see how they compliment each other. During their ceremony their officiant/friend said a few words about the relationship between Jim and Megan, he spoke about how when Megan spoke of Jim she would light up, and for a quiet person she sure had a lot of good things to say. As for Jim people openly spoke about the kindness and love he shares with Megan and how he has clearly fallen head over heels for her. Their story of how they met was wonderful and was explained during a rap from their bridesmaid Ashley, She spoke about how Megan transferred to chico dispatch and she caught Jim's eye. It was just a little time before they would be walking down the isle and sharing their vows. So here we are, please enjoy Jim and Megan's wedding day!

Shelly and Tyler's wedding was so much fun and such a beautiful day. We started our day at Hotel James where the girls got ready. We then went to TJ Farms to start the beautiful ceremony followed by a wonderful reception. Shelly and Tyler shared very personal heart felt vows stunning all of their guests with laughter, tears, and joy. They completed their night dancing in each others arms seeming to get lost together. This wedding was a lot of fun to attend! I enjoyed being apart of the festivities and helping where I was needed assisting in some decorations and some general coordinating. We had beautiful orchards at our disposal and fortunately the rain held off for us to catch some beautiful photos of the couple. These have been patiently awaited, please enjoy!

This wedding was a heart warming day. The groom glowed with such pride, love, and excitement. The day was his. His day to marry his best friend. The bride was indescribably calm and elegant. She was pleased to be surrounded with love from her friends and family and ready to say "I do". The moment the bride walked into the room the groom's smile illuminated the Church with such radiant emotion, in a moment his smile became a trembling lip and a glossy eyed expression taking the breath of many guests. Jessie and Rachelle have a true love story continuously unfolding and we were so happy to be a part of their Big Day! They are beautiful souls with incredible humor and goodness. They both love to brag about Rachelle’s students and were so proud of all of the help that the kids put into making their dream wedding happen. From the stunning pergola altar that they stood under to the large hand-painted photo booth backdrop, the beautiful love that the students have for the Perreira’s was oh so clear!
As each lady got ready, you could see the anticipation building to finally see each other. It made their First Look such a joy to capture! Jessie and Rachelle are the comfort in the storm for one another so being able to see each other before the ceremony was the perfect balm to calm their nerves. They walked into their wedding as steady as only two souls perfectly matched could.
The ceremony itself was so awe inspiring! Sunflowers and orange roses complimented the cowboy boots and bright sunset as Rachelle and Jessie made their vows to one another. There were tears of joy, love, and laughter throughout the ceremony as the incredible love they have could be felt by all—even we were overcome with emotion!
